Lenci dolls can be identified by their seamless pressed felt construction and by their various marks. Occasionally cloth or cardboard tags inscribed Lenci made in Italy are sewn directly on the dolls clothing. Sometimes a metal button marked “Lenci” is affixed to a doll or numbers or the words “Lenci Turin are stamped on the bottom of one or
both feet.
